I really enjoyed getting out in the sunshine today and look forward to it again today. Did you know that our bodies automatically produce Vitamin D from being out in the sunshine? If you didn't get a chance to get outside yesterday I hope you can get outside today. I'll head to the Discovery Garden at First Capitol Park around noon. I hope to see you there.
I hope that you & yours have safe and enjoyable holidays and are rested and ready to go for our first meeting of the new year on January 6.
The day has started gloomy, but the sun is forecast to be out later today. I can't wait! I love wearing shorts in December! If the stress of the holidays has got you down take some time to yourself out in nature today.
I think we got just over an inch of rain yesterday. It is really nice to see the sun again today. Please get outside and enjoy it.
Replanting of our downtown demonstration project is complete. If you are a watering volunteer please note that Hays Insurance is now part of the family. Please do not miss that location when you water.
I have wonderful news! The Mayor called me yesterday to say that the new County Building will be landscaped! A big thank you goes to Laurie and her political connections. We are making a difference in our little town!
The weather is to be beautiful again today. Please take advantage of it by getting outside and enjoying nature.
