Two of our members were absent, but we had a good meeting.
Sam will make a Certificate of Appreciation for David Linder for the landscaping at the new County Building and a duplicate of the one for the Fire Station.
We voted to enter the AIB competition every other year. There is a lot of work to do with their latest recommendations and we currently do not have the money to enter.
Everything seems to be falling in place for the Breakfast on Feb. 11. Sam & Gary will distribute flyers soon.
The Garden Show project has been temporarily put on hold.
Sandy has volunteered to help mulch the Discovery Garden. It needs it badly.
Laurie volunteered the City Manager to help make the promotional video so that we can start crowd funding. Peggy has an email list of High School alumni she will share with us.
Laurie will get Gail Coulter, the Landscaping teacher, to contact Sam for a meeting.
Laurie inspired us with the idea of using the Columbia Heritage Foundation property (site of the original High School and later the Jr. High) to serve as our town square. We all think this is a great idea and will make this our next project.
